We decided in a joint venture in 2002 to improve our services, e.g. to be able to handle extensive projects as well as to provide our customers with more security as regards sudden illness or narrow deadlines. Together we offer a diverse range of interests and knowledge (see our Areas of Specialization section).
Our educational background covers comparative literature, linguistics, English, philosophy, graphic design and computer science, and we are both certified in translation techniques.
Our aim right from the beginning has been to offer our customers a guarantee of quality and prompt delivery while accelerating the translating process with Computer-Aided Translation tools, i.e. translation memory tools, implemented (specialized) dictionaries, terminology management, etc.
The main service we provide is the systematic semantic transfer (aka translation) from English to German and vice versa. We will, however, also be happy to take on a proof-reading project, the correction and editing of English or German language texts.
